European ADRs Slightly Higher

American depository receipts of European stocks were trading 0.1% higher at 133.16 on the Bank of New York Mellon Europe ADR Index on Monday morning. Gainers in Continental Europe were led by French genome engineering company Cellectis Pharmaceutical (CLLS), up 5%; followed by Sweden-based oncology firm Oasmia Pharmaceutical (OASM), up 1.9%; Danish drug maker Zealand Pharma (ZEAL), up 1.4%; and another Denmark-based healthcare firm Novo Nordisk (NVO), up 1.1%.

In the United Kingdom, shares of international media and education company Pearson (PSO) were up 2.6%, followed by British retail and commercial bank Lloyds Banking Group (LYG), up 1.2%; London-based miner Rio Tinto (RIO), up 1.2%; and British tobacco company British American Tobacco (BTI), up 1.1%. Decliners in Continental Europe were led by French big data and analytics company Talend (TLND), down 2.5%; followed by French chipset developer Sequans Communications (SQNS) down 2.2%; geophysical equipment manufacturer of CGG (CGG) down 1.8%, and Italian furniture maker Natuzzi (NTZ) down 1.6%.
