I have a 12 GPSMap 8612 aboard Have Another Day with a 1920 x 1080 display and the display on the 943 looks just as sharp and easily viewable as the 8612. TO be clear, this is not a problem unique to Garmin, all MFDs installed on Panbo(at) have their card readers on the back of the MFD. I've always been a Garmin fan and when researching before they had a couple different 8-9" touchscreen displays that were in the $1,000 range or they had 10"+ displays in the $2,500 but they didn't really have much in between.
